Writing is scary. And difficult.

But you already know that. One of the greatest risks you can take as a writer is to pour your heart and soul–and then some–into completing a full-length manuscript, only to find out that nobody is interested in it. Or that it sucks.

And that’s if you even get that far.

The stories we write might be vastly different, but the one thing we all seem to have in common is that we’re no strangers to anxiety, frustration, and the feeling that maybe, just maybe, we’ll be the one who never succeeds.

Hi, my name is Leighton Knight, and welcome to Tea for Writers. I wanted to create a narrative blog where I could not only document my own journey toward authorship, but create a place where other writers could come to feel less alone in The Struggle.

I am 26 years old, I reside in New England with my boyfriend and our cat, and I want you to know that I love you, and you’re doing amazing, sweetie.

Anyway, here’s my twitter.
